1 In the action, out of which this appeal arose, defendants in error, partners in the ranching and cattle-raising business, obtained a general verdict and judgment in the amount of $17,000 against plaintiffs in error, as defendants, for injuries to some, and the death of other, cattle of their herd. In the present appeal by said defendants to reverse said judgment, both they and their adversaries will be referred to as they appeared in the trial court.
